We will work closely with you to find the right solution. Since design specifications change from case to case in regards to sound, temperature, pressure, and installation, we believe that you will be best served through the use of tailor-made designs, rather than standardized panels.
We provide simple, and very flexible, custom-made sandwich panels, doors, and windows, which can be tailored to the design of your building and provide quiet and effective sound reduction. If needed, we can utilize our global network of highly regarded partners to provide special fans, doors, or any other accessories that you require. After jointly deciding on your design and its possibilities, it takes 4-6 weeks to produce and ship across Europe. It takes roughly 7 weeks to ship to the rest of the world.

Contact us to begin a collaborative process and find your optimal panel system
Most preparations can be made on your own with our guidance. However, if a task is very complex, then we can send one of our team members to make sure everything is in order. We begin a project by doing two things:
- Measuring noise levels.
- Measuring the dimensions of the project area.
We work closely with you to ensure that you get an optimal solution. We always provide a 3D drawing and a list of units so that you feel safe in the knowledge that you will get what you want.
Once we have agreed on a designed solution, you will receive an order confirmation from us.
- Materials are shipped and typically arrive in 3─5 weeks.
- You prepare the project area for installation.
The panels are easy to install. You can choose to do it yourself with our guidance, or our experts can install them for you.

Technical specifications
We develop solutions in close collaboration with our customers and suppliers, and we adapt designs to users’ specific requirements. We are market leaders in sound reduction and absorption. Our panels are sound and fire tested by internationally recognized testing institutes on a continuous basis to ensure that the highest quality and safety standards are met.
About the panels
The panels consist of a core of non-flammable cross-layered mineral wool in varying densities, with good thermal properties and high resistance to fire. A panel system can be self-supporting at a free span of up to 6,000 mm in length, with a central point load of 150 kg, which negates the need for a steel construction in most cases. In addition to saving on steel construction, it also provides faster assembly and reduces the chance of installation errors. The end result is a panel with high durability and excellent sound reduction. The design of our profile and panel edges provides one of the most useful and flexible joint systems available on the market. Exterior surfaces are aluminum, stainless steel, or galvanized steel plate. You can choose from a wide variety of decorative finishes, including a transparent lacquered galvanized finish, painted surfaces, or a PVC-clad decorative finish in a variety of colors.
Noise reduction
All panel variants are tested in a sound lab and live up to the highest soundproofing standards. The system is tested and approved for sound reductions up to 49 dB, and it can, if needed, be equipped with perforated steel sheets for even better sound absorption. Depending on the choice of thickness and configuration, sound reductions for the panels range from 28 to 52 dB Rw. When it comes to acoustic properties, the wall system fulfills the market’s most stringent demands for sound reduction and sound absorption. When maximum sound absorption is needed, we supply panels with perforated surfaces with a membrane glued between the sheet metal and the cross-layered insulation.
Ease of installation minimizes downtime
Our acoustic solutions are very easy to install. You can choose to do it yourself, or we can send a supervisor or a team to set the system up for you. The panels fit together as large Lego bricks which makes them easy and simple to install and by utilizing this effective Lego style, the installation process usually takes a third of the time of traditional building methods. This is especially advantageous if it is necessary to shut down your production while panel systems, windows, or doors are being installed. Usually, most of the system can be assembled around the machine prior to installation, further minimizing the expense of having a production machine turned off. Components can be easily cut and drilled onsite, providing opportunities to adapt to existing dimensions at the job site or make any last-minute changes.
Thermal insulation
We provide panels, doors, and windows with thermal insulation that is appropriate for the environment, with a thermal capacity of 0.44 w/m2C. As wall panels are manufactured using high-density and cross-layered mineral wool, with no interlocking materials, the panel system can be created without any thermal bridges. Furthermore, doors and windows are designed with high thermal capabilities. The wall systems fulfill fire safety demands of up to EI 120, and polyester-painted surface finishes are entirely free of halogen and PVC-clad surfaces, complying with Class 1 of the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building, and Planning guidelines. Furthermore, if there are no demands for fire or sound insulation, then we can replace the mineral wool core with Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) insulation.
Logistics and lead time
We custom package and ship to any location across the globe. Our highly efficient shipping department has many years of experience with both land and sea transports and takes care of all of the necessary documents and transfers. We have a lead time of 4─7 weeks on a global scale. For small, urgent European projects, we have standard panels warehoused throughout Europe, allowing for very short lead times. Wall systems are normally delivered with custom height and width modules, as specified by your design, allowing quick installation without having to make cuts onsite. Deliveries often take the form of a complete system, including our own modular windows and doors, and all deliveries can be kit-packaged into systems in line with your preferences.

Get an idea of the price range
We have found that the advantages of tailor made solutions to address sound issues vastly outweigh cheaper standardized alternatives that have a tendency to be frustrating and cumbersome to install with vast unforeseen additional expenses for such as on-the-spot changes and installation delays. Our approach is to offer a solution that is so easy to install that you can do it yourself with minimal downtime. Only in the rarest of cases are there additional costs and risks of delays for on-the-spot changes. Because we offer customized solutions, we recommend contacting us at +45 52 30 30 88 to discuss all of the possibilities available to meet your unique needs.

Key factors when choosing the right supplier and solution
We are confident that we offer the best solutions within our field, and if we do not believe that we are your optimal choice, then we will direct you to someone who is. To guide you through the process, we have prepared some key questions that we recommend you keep in mind when choosing a supplier and a solution.
What is the total cost?
- What is the cost of materials?
- What is the cost of installation if I do it myself, hire a local team with one of Aabo Akustik´s supervisors to guide the process, or get Aabo acoustics team to install the system?
- What is the cost of downtime (e.g., if the production line had to be stopped during installation)?
- Will there be additional costs if last-minute changes need to be made?
- How sensitive are we in regards to delays?
Can I get what I want?
- Can the solution comply with potential surface requirements, such as food hygiene, static electricity, rust, and so forth?
- Can the solution be watertight and/or airtight?
- How do we comply with the requirements for electricity, fire safety, health, and work environment regulations, and building requirements for roofs, walls, and so forth?
How will the current system react to the installation?
- How much noise reduction is necessary, and are certain areas more critical?
- What noise frequencies should be reduced, and by how much?
- Can the panels withstand wind? If not, how do we support them?
Where should openings, doors, and windows be placed?
- Which parts of the system should be accessible?
- Which parts should be accessible during repairs and maintenance?
- Will parts of a sound-reducing enclosure need to be dismountable?
What happens if we need to make changes to our noise-reducing enclosure?
- Can we easily disassemble and reassemble the system in case the whole system needs to be moved?
- How can we easily add or remove parts of the enclosure?
Do I trust the supplier?
- Does the supplier have an excellent reputation and a good track record for providing similar projects to top brands?
